Meeting McCartney

Meeting for the 1st time

Dean and Megin came to town to visit and so did McCartney. Hollis and her are only 6 days apart. She is cute as a button and so much fun. Look at the smile on his face above(I think he really liked her too!)

Am I a sucker?

Hollis seems to love napping on the couch. I can get him to sleep only 1 hour in his bed then he cries and we both nap on the couch. I wonder if he knows I will come and get him? Oh well at least he sleeps all night long or maybe I am making he sleep to long for his nap? Also he does not like to go down for his nap until 5pm.

Everyone likes to nap on the couch

Look at me!
He has managed to sit up on his own. He still tumbles over but he is working on it. playing sitting up

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We celebrated Zach 's birthday this past week. I made him a peanut butter pie since it is his favorite. This was his first birthday as a Daddy. Hollis got him a mouse pad with his picture on it that he can use at work. I got him the game, corn hole. He loves playing it.

Trying to grab a bite of pie
I am sure it is pure torture for him to watch us eat this.

What 's going on?

We visited our family down in AL. We met the newest member, Ryan. We have 2 more cousins coming this fall. This is Granny Brown with 2 of her daughters and their grandsons.
Hollis gets his great smiles infront of the camera from her!

We have started eating rice cereal with a spoon in the mornings.
Hollis entered the tight t-shirt contest
We are getting ready for football season.
This past Saturday it felt like football weather. It was wonderful! Zach got to spend the day with us too(usually works.) We ate breakfast, walked, swam, and had a photo shoot. Crystal took a bunch of pics of Hollis in his "game outfit"(there is a chance it might not fit this fall)
Also we are getting geared up for weddings. I guess our football season should be called wedding season. We have a wedding shower or wedding, every weekend from now til the end of the year. We are looking forward to all of them.
