Polo Match-Chuckers for Charity

Hollis had his first sporting event this past weekend. We always thought it would be an Auburn football game, but no it was a polo match. We went out to a fundraiser at the Ingrams farm and it was a great time. Here are a few pictures from the day. I think we have some better ones, but we havent gotten them yet. He is getting to be a little man.

2 months 1 week Dr visit

We might have a big boy. Hollis went to the doctor for a checkup and his first round of shots.
He weighs 14 lbs and7 1/2 ounces which is in the 93% for weight.
He is 25 inches long which is 95% for height.
He drinks 5oz of formula during the day and usually has a big 8oz bottle before bedtime.
He thinks grape tylenol is the best tasting thing. I know he will love eating real foods when he gets a little older. (don't think i am not tempted to give him some now)
He has been waking up only once during the night.
Drum role, and yes he slept in his bed last night!(no more sleeping in the bassinet or lets say he is about too big for it!) We are still waiting for him to take a nap during the day like most babies do.

Father's Day

Happy Father's day to all those dads out there. Zach had his 1st this year. He is a great dad and I know Hollis loves him so much. We are thankful for both of our dads and all that they have done for us. We went to church, ate lunch, and just relaxed the rest of the day. That is what Sundays are for resting.
No, Branson is not going to be a dad, but he is a great uncle. I just thought it was funny that him and Zach dressed exactly alike today.

We decided to see if Hollis could sit in his bumbo seat, and he can! He loved it. We got carried away and put his shirt over his head. Zach was trying to get him to look like Beavis from a show on Mtv back in the days. I was laughing so hard I had tears rolling down my face and could not sit up straight. Sometimes I wonder who is having more fun, Hollis or the two of us. I think we entertain him pretty well. What do you think?

Sip & See

We had a shower in Alabama this past weekend. We had a great turnout! Around 80 people came to meet Hollis. The food was delicious and we had a fabulous time. Hollis was passed around the whole time and never complained. He is a party animal! Thanks to all the hostess for such a wonderful shower.

Twins

These are pictures of Mitchell, Parker and I hanging out on the couch. (Parker is on the left, and Mitchell is on my right, I think) They came over to go walking with us. They are our most favorite twins and two of my best buddies. We have so much fun together. They are 6 months old but I am almost s big as them. - Hollis

2 Months

At 2 Months Old.....
has a cute double chin and getting a big belly
weighs 14lbs
can take a bath with out crying (if my mom and dad talk me through it)
can hold my head up very well
slept 7 hours straight (only once ok)
eats every 3 hours during the day (if he can make it)
sucks his hands all the time
not taking many or very long naps during the daytime
loves being outside
loves sleeping on his belly
likes action and to be moving
coos and talks back

New Additions

This is Kellye. She will be a new addition to our family this fall. My brother Jeff is engaged to her and they are getting married at the beach.

I made this frame for my cousin, Allison, who is expecting this July. We had a shower for her this weekend(of course I forgot my camera). She got so many cute things and we are all excited to see baby Sean soon! Hollis will have a playmate at family events.

On Zach's side of the family 3 of his cousins are pregnant (Lindsey, Heidi, and Rebekah). So Hollis will have lots of cousins to play with soon!

Granny Brown

On our way back from the beach we made a special stop to see Hollis other Great Grandmother. She was so excited to see him. I think she might favor Zach a little since he is her only grandson. Hollis is named after her husband. You can not go to her house with out eating something. There is always plenty of home cooked food to eat.
