It's the Most Wonderful Time

We have been very busy this holiday season. Zach and I are not doing gifts for each other this year but both gave each other a surprise. Mine was one night after work I came home to our table looking like this.....
And some of our really good friends were there. The guys cooked dinner for us and then took us to look at Christmas light in a limo. We had a great time.
His surprise....was we went to see a Christmas Play that was hilarious
(this is the only pic I got)
Hollis has been busy getting into everything. One day I put him in this box to play.

Chewing on a good piece of plasticWe had Christmas with Zach's cousins at our house. Hollis got his first Christmas gift and loved unwrapping it.

Ehh Christmas Tree

Hollis loves Christmas Trees.
This year we decided to go artificial because last year our tree was huge and fell over abour 5 times. Also our little man is obsessed with it.

He will look at them for hours and say ehhh over and over again.

If he is crying we can take him to it and he stops immediately and stares big eyed.

Thanksgiving

Wild Turkey
We went to my grandparents for thanksgiving. We ate way too much and visited with each other. Then we went to Zach's parents for the rest of the weekend(I did not take one pic there)
Here is Sean and Hollis
Grandad, Lilly and Hollis
We have so much to be thankful for this year.
If Hollis could make a list these would be some of his favorites:

1. Blue blanket(that he sleeps with)
2. Bath time(spalshing as much water as possible out of the tub)
3. Paper products(to chew and destroy)
4. Puffs and Cheerios
5. Remote controls

Burrrrrr!

Old man winter has arrived.
Maybe that is why Hollis has been really whinny lately.
It might be a crazy winter!!
We got this outfit for Christmas from Aunt Lyla last year. I thought there is no way Hollis will be big enough to wear it. Well it fits perfect and it sooo warm.

7 Months & a few days

I can not believe it is that time already. Time is flying. Hollis is 7 months old.
He has gotten his two bottom teeth.

At 7 months....

(especially backwards and in circles)
can get anything
paper products are his favorite
must touch everything
is rocking on all fours
knows what his food looks like and whines for it
(his whine sounds like a cat)
thinks he is so big when he eats table food or puffs
loves other kids
Last check up: 6 months 3 weeks
22lbs (97%)
28 1/4 in (95%)
This is what he does in the mornings: watches the chipmunks and birds
He will stare for minutes at them and not make a peep.

Halloween

We had a very fun Halloween.
Hollis loved wearing his dragon costume. He was called a lizard and alligatgor too. This is from trunk or treat at church. (Casey, Cristie and I)
It was very cold that night.
Hollis had a Halloween Party on Friday. Everyone came dressed up and they all got to play.
They were all so cute in their costumes.Hudson is checking out Ella Grace's toe for her
Liam was a cute little frog
This is Brody, Raleigh, and Lola.
They can not quite sit up on their own yet.
Here is all the torture for the kids getting their pictures made.
Caroline with the stick, Mitchell, and Hollis. Hollis just loved being outside and eating the grass and the leaves. He would not even look at another kidwhen we were outside due to all the "dragon food"
We did not trick or treat but we did go to the neighborhood party.
Maybe next year we can.
