Hollis's friend, Hudson, came over to visit for a little while. Hudson is two days older than him. Hudson was sleeping and Hollis was trying to eat his elbow. Hollis also had his first bottle last week and loved every bit of it.

Last week on April 16th (my due date) we went to visit Hollis's great grandparents and my cousin, Allison, who is expecting this summer with a baby boy named Sean. Hollis can not wait for his new cousin to get here and play with him.

1/2 Marathon

Crystal and Zach

Congratulations to Zach's sister, Mom, Jenni, Tim and Marla for completing the half marathon this weekend!! We are very proud of them. Crystal ran for her ten year old cousin, Kaitlyn. Zach's mom and friends ran for their friends Margaret and Pat who beat cancer. They both took Kaitlyn across the finish line and she loved it. We celebrated afterwards with a cookout at our house. What a beautiful day it was.

We had our first road trip to Huntsville this past weekend for my high school reunion. I graduated with around 45 and we had about 25 graduates there. We had a great time and Hollis was a good little boy. He slept the entire way there and back. He really has been an easy baby so far. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Blogger Beginner

We have tried to avoid the blog world, but due to the persistence of grandmothers, friends, and family we are finally caving in. So for those of you reading our site, im sure you have already heard we gave birth to happy healthy baby boy on April 4th and named him Hollis (after Zachs grandfather). We will try our best to keep you posted on everything, but we have a home computer and the internet for the first time in 3 years of marriage. So here we go.......
