Beach Weekend

Hollis and I got to go to the beach last weekend with Sassy, Branson, and Kristin. The weather was hot and the water was warm. Hollis loves playing in the sand and digging and digging.

Aunt kiki

Working hard
Always has to play with a hose if he sees one

Hollis is in this boat riding the waves. You can barely see his head. He was scared at first of the ocean but warmed up real fast and would say "Bbbig, bbigg"about the waves and like to splash. We had a great little sand bar we hung out on lots.

Bubba and the boats
Branson bought Hollis a sword made out of a balloon from a pirate for $1.00.
We still have the thing but it has not held its shape.
Sassy showing him all the boats

Driving the boat at Bass Pro
Hollis was spoiled rotten by the three of them. It was so nice having so much extra entertainment. Mom took her golf clubs with her and Hollis saw them when we packed the car. Every couple hours on the way down Hollis would ask about the golf clubs. Finally Sassy found him a kids club to play with. He does not forget anything. Thanks to yall for putting up with us and thanks to Zach for letting us go.
Oh how we are going to miss the beach!

Auburn Game

Outside the Stadium.
Sitting in the dry during the rain delay. Hollis loves spending time with
His Me Me and Paw Paw!

Pre-Game

His mouth was wide open forever!

This boy absolutely loves Auburn. Contrary to what most people think we have not brainwashed him, he is just obsessed. He wants to run plays with his Auburn Football, watch his Auburn video, read his Auburn books and even read gameday programs everyday. We took him to the game this past weekend and I think he probably said Auburn 500 times that day. We had a rain delay so the game didnt actually start until almost 8. We left in the second quarter, but I think he would have watched the entire game. He sat in his dad's lap and watched every play. Cheered when everyone else did, he was such a good boy. We look forward to taking him to many games in the years to come.

football fan

Here he is before school. Hollis really loves it. If you ask him what he is going to do at school he says"baketball"(which is basketball) then he says"swoosh."
He is already very very into sports!
If he sees football on tv he will say"hike, hike"
Your child might be a huge fan or brainwashed when........
you are on a walk and an AU flag is hanging on someone's house and your child starts yelling "a-burn, a-burn!"

Bad Habit Broken!

Yes I am in my child's crib. Showing him that his crib is fun and yes he is going to sleep in it. We have all had a cold around our house last week. Hollis would wake up at 4am and we would put him in our bed. Well as the week went on he started waking up earlier and earlier(like 10pm). We could not figure out what was wrong. Our child has always slept in his bed all night. Well he was playing us because as soon as we put him in our bed he would start snoring. Also when we laid him down in his bed he would flip out. So this week we started sleeping boot camp.
The day before his 1st day of school he woke up at 2am and cried til 4am standing in his bed with his blanket. Not just a cry, a top of the lung I am so mad at you scream. Finally he sat down and kept nodding off and went to sleep.

The next night I think he might had cried for 15 mins in the middle of the night. The next he cried 15 mins when we laid him down, and last night 5 mins when we laid him down. Boot Camp worked!!!! It is not easy listening to the screaming but I think it was worth it for all us.

1st Day of Preschool

Here is Hollis before school playing with his lunch box. This is the best picture I could get. I would say Hollis did not have the best 1st day of school. He only cried for a few minutes when I dropped him off. I think it must of gone down hill after that. He cried everytime they switch activities or rooms.(thats like every 20 mins at his age) Yes ate his snack, no did not eat lunch, and slept for 20 minutes. This could be bc he screamed at the top of his lungs from 2am-4am the night before.
His 2nd day was much better. I don't think they are going to kick him out.

So Many Kids

When did we get so many kids?
We made the dads pose with all the children for the picture.
It was a very hot night. We have so much fun hanging out with each other and hopefully our kids do too.

Swimming in the baby pool
Riding the fire truck
Hollis is finally not sick anymore. In the last month he had 2 fever viruses and hand, foot, mouth. Who knew you could be so sick in the summer. Hopefully that is all behind us.
Almost time for school.
