Tis the Season

To start Grilling!

Everything taste better on the grill. Hollis found his gift that he was suppose to get for his birthday and has been cooking up a storm. And if you need one I might know a great place to get one.

It's a Nap

Most afternoons you can find Hollis sleeping in his rocking chair. I use to put him in his bed and he would wake up. So now we read, rock, and then I sneak out. He will sleep this way for 3 hours sometimes. He wakes up on his own and I can hear him turning the door handle or yelling momma. I know the day is coming when he will not want to nap anymore but for now I will enjoy it.

Snow Come Back

We finally got a big snow that stayed around for more than one day. We all went sledding everyday. It was so much fun!

I am not sure why the pictures are like this. The 1st three are from Friday night when all the snow was falling. The next day we sledded in our yard and with the whole neighborhood on a street behind our house. On sunday we all went to my brother's house for some serious sledding in his front yard. He would pull us half way up the hill with his golf cart. It was all so much fun. Hollis wanted to get his 4 wheeler out like the big boys next door did but he did not have enough horse power. We enjoyed being snowed in for a long weekend all together. To see more action shots look and Lilly and Mamie's blog or Aunt Crystal. Now we are bored stuck inside with this dreary cold weather.

Snow

Hollis loves loves loves the snow. He would stay outside in it all day if he could. He got to play in his 1st snow while I was at work. Oh well at least he was having lots of fun. I got to play in it the next couple of days. Crystal took all of these pictures.

The Hill

Lyla is giving the 3 amigos a push down the hill. This hill is perfect bc it is not too long but it is steep. It does not look like there is hardly even any snow on it at all. They went down it over and over again.

1st Hair Cut

Right before Christmas, Zach, Crystal, and Mimi took Hollis to get his 1st official haircut. I think I have cut on it about 20 times before. He has got lots of hair. They were thinking it was going to be a fun little outing.

All he could do was cry. They could not even get him to stop crying with a sucker.

He is glad it is finally over. I dread taking him next time since it was such a fun experience. He is due for a hair cut soon.... we might just let it go long again.

We opened presents at Zach's parent's house either Christmas Night or the next. I can not remember by that time.
