We knew something was not right when he would not touch his macaroni. So a fever begin and he went to the dr on Sunday, just a fever virus. Well the temperature rose to 105 and my child became lifeless. It was pitiful. He would sit in the corner of the couch and just look at the tv. He would just say more sprite. Well when giving him medicine he started throwing up. Thank goodness for rectal Tylenol, that is the only way we couLd keep his temp down to about102. Tuesday back to the doctor and we have an ear infection. We get medicine but Hollis will not take anymore by mouth bc of the last few days. So Thursday he seems to be better the temp is almost gone and Friday he wakes up with pink eye......we thought. Saturday back to the doctor and his other ear has stuff in it. So we decided to give him 3 days of shots to make sure he gets his meds. He finally was well by Monday but we would leave the office screaming and yelling the whole way home. I guess he was mad about going to the doctor 3days in a row and getting shots. I can now see through the clouds thank goodness to say thing were crazy at our house is putting it mildly. Keeping the boys apart would have been impossible but mom was our hero. There are not enough words to thank her for helping us out. She would come over during the day and then take jh home with her till I picked him up in the evenings. I know he got lots of attention from papa al and sassy. So this Thanksgiving I am thankful for a wonderful husband that is so hands on and my 2 healthy boys, one that laughs and one that coos.

Poor Hollis!! Walker has missed him at school! Lucy has been out for two weeks with MONO!!! I didn't even know 2 yr olds could get that. She had a very high fever too. I'm so glad Hollis doesn't have it. It's SO hard when you have a new baby trying to keep the older one away. Here's to better, healthier days ahead!
