SEC

We all went to the sec game in Atlanta with Zach's family (except JH, he stayed with Sassy). We had a great time and lots of fun at the game of course since the Auburn tigers won.

Zach did a lot of this, since we forgot the stroller. Hollis would just randomly start saying, it s great to be an auburn tiger over and over.

Friday night Zach and I got to meet some old friends for dinner.
Saturday we went to a parade with all kinds of floats and marching bands. It was very entertaining. Hollis loved it.

Before the game, notice how hollis cooperates so well with the camera these days. We all got to sit together, somehow Zach's dad worked it out by swapping tickets etc.

Aunt crystal the one usually behind the camera.

Hollis loves going to games. I think it was his 4th one to go to this season. I am sure JH will love it too. I am not sure if the football game or the marching band is his favorite. He loves to sing the fight song All the time. His favorite toy at home is the boppy used as a tuba.

Celebration, luckily Zach and Crystal booked flights and hotels the week before to Arizona. This family is all Auburn. War Eagle!

O to hear laughter and cooing

We knew something was not right when he would not touch his macaroni. So a fever begin and he went to the dr on Sunday, just a fever virus. Well the temperature rose to 105 and my child became lifeless. It was pitiful. He would sit in the corner of the couch and just look at the tv. He would just say more sprite. Well when giving him medicine he started throwing up. Thank goodness for rectal Tylenol, that is the only way we couLd keep his temp down to about102. Tuesday back to the doctor and we have an ear infection. We get medicine but Hollis will not take anymore by mouth bc of the last few days. So Thursday he seems to be better the temp is almost gone and Friday he wakes up with pink eye......we thought. Saturday back to the doctor and his other ear has stuff in it. So we decided to give him 3 days of shots to make sure he gets his meds. He finally was well by Monday but we would leave the office screaming and yelling the whole way home. I guess he was mad about going to the doctor 3days in a row and getting shots. I can now see through the clouds thank goodness to say thing were crazy at our house is putting it mildly. Keeping the boys apart would have been impossible but mom was our hero. There are not enough words to thank her for helping us out. She would come over during the day and then take jh home with her till I picked him up in the evenings. I know he got lots of attention from papa al and sassy. So this Thanksgiving I am thankful for a wonderful husband that is so hands on and my 2 healthy boys, one that laughs and one that coos.

October

October has been busy around our house. John Houston is growing and eating lots.

This picture was taken at 3 weeks old. He has woken up during the day time now to eat every 3 and sometimes 2 hours.

My 80 year old grandmother went to the zoo with us.

These two drove every goat in there crazy. Hollis is not scared one bit of them. If you know me I am scared of most animals.

My cousin Allison and Sean .....and little one on the way. Sean is 3 months younger than Hollis.

This is my little baby I use to keep. Mark was 1when I started babysitting him and now he is in middle school. He is still as sweet as ever and Hollis loves playing with him.

Brothers in their War Eagle matching shirts. Hollis loves "brother"as he calls him. He is his little watch dog and wants to know where he is at all times. Today I told him brother was going to sleep with him in his crib and he said sure! And yes Hollis still loves his crib.   We might have to get another one because I do not think he is going to give it up anytime soon.

Nightly event at our house. I know Zach is tired when he gets home but he always plays with Hollis. He put Hollis to bed the other night and as he was walking out Hollis said"thank you for playing tackle with me daddy".  That makes it all worth while right there.

Boys taking a bath-jh for the 1st time and no he does not like it.

Annual pumpkin carving with my helper. He loved playing with all the tools.

The gang being silly.

My other little pumpkin.

The official one month chair shot.

We even have made a trip to Huntsville. Riding paw paw s tractor.

Weeeeeee- this was at fun fest at Mimi  and Paw Paw's church

Spinning round and round

John Houston is Here!

John Houston arrived safely last thursday at 4:22pm. Luckily he only weighed 8lbs 15oz. The delivery went so well. I beat Hollis' time and only had to push for about 16 minutes. I could not have asked for a better experience. We are so excited to have our new baby boy here!

Family of 4

Hollis really likes him and calls him brother. He always wanting to know where he is but not too in to him.

5 days old

In his room the letters I made. Actually I would still call this Hollis' room bc Hollis still sleeps in his crib. We will work on that one later down the road.
